•Finance Manager to support the Global Ventures and Corporate Development organization reporting initially to the SVP of the GVCD team. This person will be responsible for three main strands of work:
•The development of financial models to evaluate a wide range of business opportunities, including investments, commercial partnerships, and strategic alliances
•Be the internal Astro liaison for the GVCD Group to capture priorities and capabilities gaps, work with budgets and existing business plans to evaluate new technologies and opportunities, and ensure follow through and integration post completion of the respective deals delivered by the department
•In conjunction with SVP and VP(s) develop extensive research and analysis of emerging technologies and industries, potential partners, and competitors and communicate findings and recommendations to SVP/VP

•Minimum of Degree with 8 years of working experience
•Preferably 3 years+ of corporate and/or business development within a major organization this can be directly, or in an associated capacity
•Fluency with Excel
•Relevant Financial qualifications
•Strong analytical and data gathering skills
•Good business sense
•Persuasive oral/written communication skills
•Deep knowledge of emerging internet technology sectors
•Candidate will have had significant experience in:
•Building:bottoms-up financial models,
•Accretion/dilution models,
•Discounted cash flow valuations,
•Calculating ROIC, ROI, IRR return metrics,
•Making purchase accounting adjustments,
•Understanding of financial statements and general accounting principles.
•Experience creating PPT presentations.
•Must have experience interacting with internal clients
•Demonstrated experience performing company due diligence
•Managing and directing staff
•Working in a small team environment
